In the past two days, Wafaa Al-Muhsenin Charity has distributed cash and in-kind assistance to the needy families in Gaza Strip as part of the “Zakat and Charity” project by a donation from the generous donors of the Sultanate of Oman.
The Charity Management said: “These aids are in the framework of ongoing charity projects organized by the Foundation to relieve our kin in Gaza Strip, which has been besieged for 13 years by the Israeli occupation.”
The Charity Management referred that “The beneficiary families were selected after a thorough field research to ensure their access to the poorest families according to several features set by the Charity in coordination with the zakat committee.”
The Management added: “Last week, Gaza Strip was subjected to a serious Israeli aggression that led to the destruction of homes and farms as well as the martyrdom and wounding of dozens, hence our turn is to intensify our relief and humanitarian projects.”
It is worth mentioning that the Charity is preparing in the coming days to launch the winter campaign in Palestine, Syria and Yemen. Therefore, we call on the generous donors in the Arab and Islamic countries to stand by the poor and vulnerable in these countries
