The Prophet Mohammad (Peace be upon him) said: “There is no greater charity than providing water.”
Wafaa Al-Muhsenin Charity has concluded a project of digging several artesian wells for the benefit of the Burmese refugees who are living near the Bangladeshi borders by funding from the brotherly Omani people.
The Charity also said: “Rohingya refugees are a priority of ours, where tens of thousands of oppressed families who escaped from the ethnic cleansing in Burma, who currently live on the Bangladeshi borders and they are in extremely poor humanitarian conditions as they have lost shelter, food and drink.”
The Charity added by saying: “The water situation of the refugees is very poor, which made us accelerate the implementation of this project to provide drinking water and laundry for the camps and to ease the suffering of the refugees walking long distances to get a little water, in addition to protect them from diseases that result from mixing of the waste water with drinking water.”
Wafaa Al Muhsenin, in turn thanked the donor brothers in the Sultanate of Oman for supporting the poor and the oppressed, wishing them for the good and honorable livelihood.
