In a first-of-its-kind project in months, Al-Muhsinin Charity Foundation distributed fruits to the wounded and sick in hospitals, as well as to dozens of displaced families in tents.
The foundation stated, ‘Fruits have been completely unavailable in Gaza’s markets for months. As soon as a small quantity became available, we rushed to implement this project, given the patients’ and wounded’s need to improve their health and boost their recovery with essential vitamins.’
It added, ‘We are doing our utmost to provide what we can through local markets to ease the suffering of our people, noting that we have relief convoys waiting for almost two months, unable to enter Gaza due to the closure of crossings. Despite this, we remain committed to continuing our support for our people in Gaza.’
