The Poor Patient Fund aims to combat the high rate of preventable deaths among children and women. Sadly, hundreds of thousands of children die each year before their fifth birthday, while thousands of others succumb to treatable illnesses daily.
In addition, hundreds of women lose their lives during pregnancy or childbirth, and many births in rural areas occur without the presence of specialized professionals. The Foundation is committed to supporting free surgeries and providing medicine to underprivileged families.
