A team from the Wafa Al-Mohsenin Foundation and the Turkish Humanitarian Relief Agency (IHH), during 3 consecutive days, made several visits to the displacement camps in Idlib, Syria, to prepare for the winter projects that the Foundation will implement in the coming days.
The Chairman of the Foundation: Abdullah Al-Astal, “The visit aimed to get a closer look at the conditions of the displaced people in tents and identify their essential needs. The team started its visit by distributing the winter clothing for 100 children in the city, and the distribution will be completed soon, bringing the total beneficiaries to 1,000 displaced children.”
And added “We visited the neighboring villages at the request of the parents, and we gave 500 symbolic gifts to the children there, and we promised them another visit during the implementation of the winter project.”
Al-Astal continued, “The most important characteristic of this visit is that we agreed with the charitable coordinator in Idlib to implement a very important project, which is to replace tents by building a room for each family,The Foundation took this upon itself and started from the first moments, preparing for the project and communicating with Good people, and we are sure that he will see the light soon.
And he appealed to all charitable organizations and people of conscience to contribute with the Foundation in implementing the project, to protect children from the cold and harsh winter, and to protect the privacy of the displaced families.
