Wafaa Al-Mohsenin Charity welcomed a delegation from UNICEF at its Ma’arif Muzoon and Al-Amal schools. The delegation included:
- Jean Gough, UNICEF Representative in Palestine
- Paola Retaggi, Head of Education at UNICEF
The visit began with a meeting to review the latest developments in the organization’s education programs, followed by a tour of the two schools. The delegation praised the efforts of the institution and its staff, expressing admiration for their outstanding performance despite the challenges of war. They emphasized the urgent need to support and fund the administrative costs of the schools.
The two schools, run by Wafaa Al-Mohsenin, currently provide education for more than 2,500 displaced children.
In the midst of conflict, these schools have become a beacon and symbol of resilience—proving that education can endure even in the harshest of circumstances.
