Wafaa Al-Muhsinin Foundation successfully delivered Qurbani meat to Gaza, after nearly two months of freezing the meat in Egypt and Jordan. This step comes amid the severe restrictions on food supplies entering the region.
The foundation stated, “We performed the Qurbani sacrifices on time according to Islamic rules, then froze the meat following approved health procedures. We made every effort to expedite its entry into the Gaza Strip. The foundation is among the first organizations to succeed in bringing Qurbani meat after a long period of deprivation.”
It continued, “The distribution was not limited to the southern part of Gaza; for the first time, the meat reached the north, which is suffering from severe hunger and food scarcity.”
The foundation added, “We started distributing the meat to families immediately upon arrival, due to the lack of refrigeration amid ongoing power outages since the beginning of the aggression.” They also announced plans to receive more meat shipments in the coming days.
The foundation expressed gratitude to partner organizations and donors for their support, affirming their continued commitment to assisting the people of Gaza.
