Amid the harsh conditions of war and soaring prices, Wafaa Al-Mohsenin Charity Foundation continued its relief efforts, distributing 1,000 vegetable baskets—each weighing 7 kg—to displaced families across different areas.
Although some essential items were missing due to scarcity, the baskets included whatever could be sourced from local produce, planted and harvested under bombardment and blockade—a testament to the will to survive amid destruction.
Vegetable prices have skyrocketed from $20 before the war to around $90 today, making the delivery of these baskets a direct support to ease families’ living hardships.
The Foundation affirmed its commitment to continue distributions whenever possible, thanks to the support of generous donors standing with the people of Gaza in these most difficult times.
