Amid a worsening humanitarian crisis, with the blockade tightening and agricultural land shrinking across Gaza, Wafaa Al-Muhsineen Charity has managed to prepare and distribute hundreds of fresh vegetable baskets to affected families — part of its ongoing efforts to ensure a minimum level of food security for the most vulnerable.
The baskets included essential vegetables, hardly sourced from what little remains of Gaza’s functioning farmland. Despite the team’s dedicated efforts, the growing scarcity of crops and high costs made it impossible to meet all the needs.
“We wished we could have done more… but this is what we were able to gather under such harsh conditions,”
say our field teams, who continue working daily under immense pressure to secure even a single meal for Gaza’s families.
This initiative is part of Wafaa’s emergency response to the escalating humanitarian catastrophe — a call for greater solidarity and support to scale up the provision of urgently needed food supplies.
