Due to the pressing need observed during the implementation of our project a week ago, the foundation organized a second free medical day for the benefit of displaced in shelter schools.
The foundation noted, “Hospitals are struggling to accommodate regular patients, reserving their facilities for those with severe injuries. Therefore, there’s a necessity for medical treatment and wound care for individuals with moderate and minor injuries in shelter schools to prevent wound infections.”
Furthermore, the foundation expressed, “In addition to this, skin diseases are beginning to spread in the shelter centers due to the heavy congestion, water shortages, and the lack of hygiene supplies, which we aim to provide.”
The foundation is taking proactive steps to address these healthcare challenges in the shelter centers, providing much-needed medical support to those displaced by the ongoing crisis.
