The foundation inaugurated a new water desalination and purification plant in the city of Deir al-Balah, located in the middle of Gaza Strip, with funding from the ‘Basmat Sawa’ (Fingerprint of Efforts) team. The inauguration was attended by the mayor of the city, representatives from the Zakat committees, dignitaries, and local residents.
The foundation stated, ‘Given the high salinity levels, nitrate content, and the unsuitability of water for drinking purposes, the foundation continues to establish water desalination plants to provide clean and safe water for our people in Gaza.’
The foundation expressed gratitude to the ‘Basmat Sawa’ team for funding this plant and other previously established plants.
