Last month, the Wafa Al-Mohsesin Charitable Foundation concluded a charitable loaf project in the Yemeni city of Sana’a, with funding from the philanthropists in the Sultanate of Oman.
Where 156 displaced and poor families benefited daily and for a whole month.
Also, buying a sewing machine and its accessories for one of the beneficiary families from the bakery in order to transform it from a consumer’s family into a productive family through the empowerment program.
“The situation in Yemen is very worrying, and the poverty and disease rate has increased dramatically, and this increases the burden on charitable institutions in light of the limited resources and capabilities,” the foundation said.
In turn, the Foundation thanked the donors and philanthropists for their contribution to the project, and their keenness to alleviate the Yemeni families and reduce the unemployment rate in light of the painful conditions experienced by the Yemeni people.
