Wafaa Al-Muhsenin Charity within the framework of the construction and renovation projects of the poor families’ houses, has opened the home of “Abu Talaat’s family” in the southern Gaza Strip with funding by the generous donors in the Sultanate of Oman.
Wafaa Al-Muhsenin Charity declared that “during our regular visits to the homes of poor families, we have seen the extent of the suffering and tragedy of a family consists of 7-members for more than 14 years. The house drowns every winter season because it is below the ground level as well as kitchen and the bathroom are not fit to the human being life.”
The spokesman of Wafaa Al-Muhsenin added by saying: “After we contacted to the generous donors and their willingness to renovate the house, we quickly started the necessary procedures to build with the competent authorities. Then we started the renovation works which included (building the house and building the walls, building the kitchen and the toilet, the roof of the house, providing an electricity and water network – plastering and painting the house – Ceramics Windows and doors and many other works.”
Wafaa Al-Muhsenin referred that “There are hundreds of homes similar to the poor families suffering from difficult living conditions and their agony is exacerbated by the beginning of the winter season, where they try as much as possible to help families through the available possibilities and resources.
The sister “Um Talaat” in her turn thanked generous donors in the Sultanate of Oman for building the house and providing the security of her five children wishing them good and happiness, noting that she did not expect to achieve this dream one day to conclude her speech by saying, “Today me and my children’s life began.”
