Wafaa Al-Muhsenin Charity carried out last week a project to release those in debt for releasing the detainees on cases of financial liabilities in coordination with the concerned authorities, where they were released after payment of their debts.
Wafaa Al-Muhsenin declared: “Not everyone who enters prison is considered a criminal. Our people in the Gaza Strip live in extremely catastrophic living conditions. Unemployment and poverty have increased, and many families have lost their livelihoods, causing them financial crises and they had to provide food, drink and basic necessities.”
They added: “The project of those in debt targeted citizens with small debts who had been borrowed money for humanitarian reasons where they arrived to a dead end away from fraud, seizure or any criminal acts, consequently the names were subjected to survey to ensure the application of agreed standards.”
In its turn, Wafaa Al-Muhsenin Charity thanked the good and generous donors who contributed to the implementation of this project and reunification of the family’s breadwinner with his children and releasing their debts as well as they wishing them to get a good and plenty wealth.
